Our Chairperson Ma'am
Dr. Mrs. Amita Chauhan ma’am, Chairperson of Amity Group of Schools, is committed to excellence in all endeavors. Therefore, the school is aligned with groups like NPSC, HPSC, and GPSC under her guidance. A visionary initiative of Dr (Mrs) Amita Chauhan, Chairperson, Amity Group of Schools & RBEF, Amitasha, is a chain of schools for the less privileged girl child. She believes – “Education is every child’s birth right and forms the cornerstone of societal and individual development.”

Our Founder President Sir
Dr. Chauhan is a visionary leader, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. He is also a pioneer in educational reform. He is the founder and president of the Amity Education Group, a leading Indian education group with campuses in India and abroad. He has contributed to research breakthroughs in areas such as biotechnology, nanotechnology, and environmental toxicology. He has received numerous awards and honors, including the Golden Peacock Entrepreneurial Leadership Award in 2014. In 1986, Dr. Chauhan established the Ritnand Balved Education Foundation, a leading philanthropy, education, and development foundation.

Vira Sharma Ma’am has over 14 years of experience in Student Edition of India’s leading newspaper The Times of India and then as the Founding Managing Editor of The Global Times, a weekly 12-page school newspaper of the Amity Education Group, Vira Sharma has been in the field of educating and involving students through newspapers. An M.Phil in Educating from Jawahar Lal Nehru University, she has evolved this newspaper as an important education tool that aims to empower the youth with information and activities within the ‘school framework’. To achieve this objective, she has been conducting several programs including ‘Youth Power’ that sensitizes the youth to different social issues as well as ‘Making a Newspaper Contest’ where the participating schools take out a complete edition on their own from articles and picture to illustration and designing.

The Youth Power Program is a wonderful platform set to transform students into harbingers of change. This unique opportunity provided to the students by our respected Chairperson Ma’am allows students to delve into their interests, and work on solving current social issues. Nothing else can be more important than spreading awareness about important social issues prevailing in today’s dynamic world and empowering the students to come up with their own unique ideas and solutions. This year is certainly going to be a great learning experience for each of them, as always.
